Our story

About AUSA

Founded in 2015 in Aurora, IL — developing youth athletes through soccer.

Our Mission

To provide a premier soccer experience for young athletes by combining the excitement of travel competition with the highest standards of coaching expertise. We are dedicated to cultivating a passion for soccer and the development of our players both athletically and personally — with a focus on excellence, integrity, and sportsmanship.

Our Story

The story of the Aurora USA Soccer Academy (AUSA) is one of empowerment, resilience, and a steadfast commitment to providing opportunities for inner-city kids from low socio-economic backgrounds. Founded in 2015, our journey began with a vision to break down barriers and make the beautiful game of soccer accessible to all children, regardless of their economic circumstances.

AUSA has been a beacon of hope for the community, offering a low-cost travel program that not only introduces young athletes to the joys of soccer but also instills in them the values of teamwork, discipline, and determination. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by many families, we have made it a priority to provide scholarships, ensuring that talented individuals have the chance to enroll in our academy and pursue their soccer dreams. In the past decade, we have witnessed the transformative power of sports, watching our players grow not only as athletes but also as individuals who carry the lessons learned on the field into their daily lives. The impact of the academy goes beyond the soccer pitch, influencing the academic, social, and personal development of each participant.

As we reflect on our journey, we take pride in the strides we have made and the lives we have touched. However, our commitment to the community continues to propel us forward. Looking towards the future, our vision extends beyond the soccer field. We aspire to expand our programs, reaching even more children and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. To achieve this, we are actively seeking partnerships with like-minded organizations and individuals who share our passion for community development through sports. These partnerships will be the catalyst for further growth, enabling us to continue offering high-quality soccer programs and making a lasting impact on the lives of our players from Aurora and the surrounding areas.

In the pages of our story, each child is a protagonist, and every achievement is a testament to the collective effort of a community that believes in the potential of every young player. As we turn the pages towards the future, the Aurora USA Soccer Academy remains dedicated to creating opportunities, fostering dreams, and building a legacy that transcends the boundaries of the soccer field.

Our Vision

To be a beacon of empowerment and opportunity for young athletes — especially those from low socio-economic backgrounds. We aspire to expand our programs, reach more children, and forge partnerships that make a lasting impact on the lives of youth in Aurora and beyond. Every child deserves access to quality coaching, competitive soccer, and a team that feels like family.
